Abstract :
Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping health professions education, clinical decision making, and research practice. Dentistry, as a technology-driven discipline, is uniquely positioned to benefit from AI-enabled tools that enhance learning, strengthen leadership capacity, and accelerate research productivity. This presentation explores practical and ethical applications of artificial intelligence across three domains: dental education, professional leadership, and research. It highlights how AI can support personalized learning, assessment, curriculum design, strategic leadership, data-driven decision making, and advanced research methodologies. Real-world use cases, emerging tools, and implementation strategies relevant to low- and middle-income contexts are discussed. The session aims to equip educators, academic leaders, and researchers with a clear understanding of how to responsibly integrate AI into dental institutions while maintaining academic integrity, clinical judgment, and human-centered care.
